Exclusive First Look at the Micromax Bharat One Feature Phone, Nokia 3310 Clone

Last week, we exclusively reported about the upcoming Bharat series phones from the Indian manufacturer, Micromax. Today, we got the first look at the Bharath One (X1i) feature phone which will officially launch next month here in India. Though there are rumors about the Bharath Two smartphone, we don’t have information regarding that. Talking about the Micromax Bharath One, it will supports LTE bands and offers VoLTE support for using with the Jio 4G SIM. Since Jio uses only the LTE bands, the users of it need to have an LTE supported device to use data and VoLTE supported device to make and received calls.

Last month, another Indian brand, Lava launched the Lava 4G Connect M1 as the India’s first feature phone with 4G VoLTE support priced at Rs. 3,599. However, the Bharath One is expected to be priced cheaper than the Lava 4G Connect M1. Interestingly, the design of the device also looks similar to the Nokia 3310 with chrome finished frame around the display. At the MWC 2017, Nokia under HMD Global relaunched the Nokia 3310 with color display and bigger battery. Unlike the Bharath One, the new Nokia 3310 works only 2G network and is almost unusable in few of the developed nations like Canada and Australia.

The alpha-numeric keypad on the Bharath One come with English and Hindi languages. It also sports two buttons to answer and end the calls. There is a circular navigation button with a button for torch in the middle and two soft buttons on either side. As of now, there is no information about the internal specifications of this upcoming phone. Stay tuned on Phone Radar for more details
